Magnefine filters

Easy, but I would like to have your opinion regarding hose length, return pressure drop and so on. The ATF return line on the car apparently came from the factory with two female unions joined by a male union, 5/16 inch if I remember correctly. That connection is roughly below the hose from the coolant reservoir to radiator and above where the A/C high pressure aluminum pipe comes up from the condenser. I bought one more male union and screwed it into one of the females unions. Now, I had to females unions with males unions screwed in at one end and free at the other. I bought to brass hose barbs with female ends of the right side and screwed these onto the free male union ends. Then, I slipped 3/8 inch PS return line with lined clamps onto each hose barb. The connection works and looks neat. With a large hose clamp, I secured the Magnefine filter to the raised cut on the metal band that wraps around and holds the coolant reservoir by the waist, so to speak. So the ATF filter is right alongside (parallel) to the coolant reservoir. One short length (less than a foot) of PS return hose runs between the filter and hose barb on one of the ATF return line connections, right alonside the hose from the coolant reservoir. Another long length (maybe three feet) of PS return hose runs from the filter around and below the air filter housing to the hose barb on the other connection on the ATF return line. All told, the Magnefine filter is far enough from the turbocharger, clamped to that steel band around the coolant reservoir. Hose barbs are far enough forward from the turbocharger and lower than it almost sitting on the side rail along which runs the A/C aluminum high pressure pipe. The installation looks almost factory like because all you see is the Magnefine filter clamped alongside the coolant reservoir. Hose barb and filter connections are secure and completely dry. I want to hear whether you think about four feet of 3/8 inch hose and the filter unduly affect ATF return pressure. BTW, Nick at FCPGroton plans to offer genuine Volvo and Scan-Tech European headlights, turn signals and trim pieces for 200 and 700 cars. Group deal prices for an '86 760T like mine would be $517 for both left and right all Volvo front end, $238 all Scan-Tech, and the possibility to combines Volvo headlights (best) with Scan-Tech turn signals and trim pieces for $392. I think I remember seeing like prices for the Scan-Tech L/R headlights, turn signals and trim pieces from a guy in Canada called Frank Derks. But the best I could get from Scott at Borton was $750 for Volvo L/R headlights, turn signals and trim pieces. I will post about it because I think there will be interest from Brickboarders with 700 cars with headlights like mine or 200 cars with now yellowish and opaque plastic lenses rather than European glass lenses. Please, let me know what you think. Best regards.
