I think your atf pressure will be fine even with all that hose: this is not the high-pressure side anyway. My car, for want of unions, will need a cut in the tubing to accommodate the hose, which must be snaked up to a location remote from the turbo so the heat does not fry the Magnefine filter. I like your solution. I used a tubing flare kit on my 745 to press a ridge into the tube so the clamped hose does not leak: it's clamped to the bare tube.

I also like the E-code headlights solution from fcp. My cheapie solution was to buy, at Dan Stern's suggestion, some Hella XL lamps on EBay and design a mounting plate for the cutouts beneath the bumper. Total cost: $60. The XLs give a great low-beam light at little cost.

If you go the route of the E-Codes, make sure you buy some Stongard plastic film to protect them from rocks. I made the mistake of placing some worthless film from IPD on my kid's car, which within one week suffered a cracked glass headlamp. $$$. The Stongard really works and is high-quality stuff. It's important up here since the winter sand trucks use a coarse sand/gravel mix that takes a toll on cars, windshields, and headlamps.
