AC system removal

To Matt L,

What would be gained from removing the compressor and all of the other ac components is 2 hp, more room to work on the engine, less electrical problems to worry about, less weight and better gas mileage. I have already disconected the belt going from the crankshaft pulley to the ac compressor. Now it is just dead weight.
