You are just a wee bit off, laddie, on id'ing the wiring. Red and black are POWER (blk is ground). The DIN plug goes into the (identical) DIN jack on the back of the radio. Typically, the (6141) radio has TWO DIN conectors - one for the EQ, the other that goes to the POWER AMP (not EQ) hidden under the dash on the driver's side. If you don't have a stock radio, keep the EQ as a souvenir of your crime spree.

Seriously - maybe there is a reason they don't let under 18 in the junkyard!
