Possible Carb/Ignition problems(long) 120-130

Just wanted to say that I dropped my jets down 2 flats, and advanced the timing the 3 degrees or so that I had previously retarded. The old girl seems to take throttle a lot better, but still slight dieseling upon shut off. I think I'll re-check the dwell, as it may have moved. All my VW's in the past had the Bosch "self-adjusting dwell option" :> I got used to it after a while. I'm really amazed how much I've forgotten about pre-electronic cars. I'm always saying to myself "oh yeah, that's right" Must be old age taking a firm grasp of my brain! About the carbs being 2 or 3 bolt, they have 3. I found out about those vent holes were on an MG. Boy, did that give me fits finding that out! Anyway, thanks all for the help!

John
