Sounds like the PNP switch is going bad.

Twist the key to START in a no-start condition and hold it there while reaching around and tugging the shift lever in multiple directions. I'll bet it fires right up.

PNP switch is a high failure item on your car. Dealer cost is about $160 and it is bolted to the side of the transmission.


Diagnose, then advise if you will be doing this repair yourself.
