Problems with Drum brakes 444-544 1960

I had a similar problem and found it was my brake lines. They were original and had grown weak and were swelling when I put the brakes on. I replaced them and solved the problem. IPD has complete sets for PV544. They run about $80.00. I just took off the old ones and took them to my local auto parts house and they checked for similar ones and they cost about $30.00.
