I just purchased a compression tester this weekend and performed this test on my 760 gle 88 engine the b280f with 250k kilometers. My Haynes manual sais that compression should be between 116-160 psi with a difference of 29 psi max.I find this incredible but each cylinder shows a compressure of 220 psi.My car has no engine modifications except for a performance air filter.I thought that this coulb be related to carbon deposits in cylinder and on pistons but how come it is so high and even throughout the engine? Please give me some feedback. Thanks
