My '87 had the exact same problem. I found a used header pipe at a junkyard for about $40.00 and had it put on for another $40. Recently I've noticed that FCP Grotin has new header pipes for around $50. I'd check this option out first because it took me a while to find on at a junkyard. Brad '87 244 298k
