Don't give up, I'm 45 and just started racing, practising with an Alfa but hope yo race one of the Volvo's in a couple of years.Re 185/80-15 Rolling around? it was like the tread stayed on the ground but the car moved sideways independently going around corners, straight line was fine and it was a huge improvement in grip over the crossplys on standard rims. Steering was no problem it just didn't handle sharp.
