B230FT head disassembly, any tips? Also spring compressor question.

Why don't you open the valves by turning the cam and blow any debris out with compressed air? It would be better to pull the valves, and while you are at it, install new seals on the intake guides. The valve spring compressor which I used fits on a cam cover stud.
