If you do a really good job of preserving it, it may be still valuable when it comes out of retirement. Usually, a daily drive that is put up will become very intermittant and require a lot of tinkering to get back into daily use shape. Using it, even if only every other week, is vastly supperior to leving it sit. Good luck, I also have at least 2 too many "must keepers" slowly getting funky in the driveway.
