**Engine mount installation** 200 1983

When I installed my new engine mounts I lifted the engine with a floor jack and block of wood under the oil pan. This was after the car was in the air on 4 jackstands so I had some room to move around underneath.

In my opinion, the right side (passenger) is easier to replace, mostly beacuse it is easier to reach from underneath. I found that removing the bracket to the crossmember made the removal and replacement easier. These brackets are also fairly easy to line up and bolt down compared to the upper bracket.

I first thought the job would turn out to be much harder than it was, thats why I put it off for a while, but now that it's done and I look back, It wasnt all that hard to do.

Good luck,
