Replacing Accumulator 700 1992

Don,

The thing to remember is that most of the oil in the system is held in the accumulator. With that in mind, I would recommend adding approximately 3/4 of the original system capacity (I'm sorry I don't have an exact specification for you :). Measuring the oil that is poured from the existing accumulator isn't really accurate, as some of the oil will remain in the desiccant. Any oil that you add can be added directly into the accumulator, as it will automatically circulate the correct amount into the system. This should be done quickly, because anytime that the accumulator is opened, the desiccant inside is absorbing moisture from the air. Anyway, Good Luck with your repairs. I hope I have been helpful...
