Replacing Accumulator 700 1992

Most importantly, put the oil in the compressor in the proper amount (it might be listed in the conversion which is in the FAQ) and then you can dump the rest in the accumulator. The oil that you dump into the accumulator will be distributed appropriately throughout the system. I'm not exactly sure why Volvo lists exact amounts for each component, but I believe it to be an average amount of what will be lost depending on each specific component removal. I'm not sure of that as a fact, though.

One thing I am sure of is that I've never seen anyone measure out the amounts of oil and put them here and there throughout the system with the exception of the compressor & accumulator. It gets redistributed eventually.
