If you get a later series engine, simply put your sensors in place of any that remain in the engine that you get. That way you can use the existing sensors, EFI, and wiring harness. Essentially that will be just like pulling an engine from the box. Also remove the sensor mount from the rear of the engine on later models (small bracket) so that it will mate to the older bellhousing design of the transmission. Use your current distributor as well.
