Is there any "spring-back" at all? If so, I had a similar problem and spraying WD-40 in the cylinder and rotating it off to on several times seemed to clear it up. Be careful! Run the key in and out of the cylinder a whole bunch of times and wipe all the goop off the key each time. (Whole bunch is relative to goop!) I failed to do that and ruined a pair of pants!
