No power to A/C compressor 700 1992

Hi Randy G. Thanks for your reply! My problem is no power going to the compressor.When I jumper power from the positive battery terminal to the compressor (cluth) wire it kicks in fine and runs...telling me the ground on the compressor is okay. I'm looking for a dash switch, indicator bulb, relay or some other problem in that direction. Thanks.
