My mom bought one of these in 1998. It did not have the two tone paint, but did have the wood trim on the steering wheel, gear shift, door panels, etc. It also had the extra speakers as mentioned, as well as suede on the seats, and special fabric on the roof and door pillars, i believe. She only put about 18k on the car before just recently selling it, for i believe 22k. The car worked beautifully, except for a problem with the radio antenna, and i believe a slight problem with water drainage. All fixed under warranty. At the time, we were a volvo family, owning three; a 1988 744 GLE, an 1994 855 turbo, and the S90. The only one we have kept is the 744. Our dealer, also a family friend, said that this car, in its last year, was produced as a speical addition. I doubt it is regional. Hope this answers your questions.
