The prices are surprising and I am sure the cars are sometimes surprising as well. I have been tempted, but so far have stuck to my first rule of car purchasing: If you are spending more than $500 see and drive the car before purchasing. Have you ever responded to an ad locally only to find that the car is misrepresented? Sometimes this isn't intentional on the owner's or dealer's part- they just aren't as particular as you might be. If this only costs you 30 minutes of your time it is no big deal. If it happens four states away and costs you $4000 and three days of your time you will not be a happy camper. Just my opinion of course.
