Radio problems 700

So i replaced the stock radio on a 88 740 turbo, and there is no sound now... I turn the radio all the way up and can barely hear anything, how do I fix this? I swapped a TD 6141 with the same radio, and soldered the wiring harness in. Every connection was the same... what can I do?
