Hopping upon backing up...with wheels turned to max

VolvoGurus:
I just replaced the bushings,ball joints,tie rods and new KYB shock inserts in my 93 245's front end.
The problem: Whenever I back up with the wheel turned to max the car seems to hop and bump instead of just smoothly curving around...Any ideas on what could be wrong? Or is this normal?
