Well, if the car is reading a too lean or too rich mixture you might want to check the fuel pump regulator. The diaphram might be blown.

Is there any black smoke coming out? Thats the best way to visually see a engine running rich. If not, chances are the car is running lean and that could be a number of different problems. I would check that next.
