i've read the FAQ's but wanted more in-depth responses in buying a 740. i have my eye on a '89 740GL w/156K. it will need to have the a/c compressor replaced (i don't have the room or i would replace it myself) and the guy said a small oil leak (about 1/4qt every 2-3 months.) i know to check the flame trap for the oil leak (BTW-is the trap on these the same place as my 240???) and the a/c work will be expensive, but is there anything else on the '89 i should look for??? i can get it for very little, but will already put 700$$+++ in it to fix the two problems i'm already aware of.
also, anyone know if volvo had a blue/green color available from the factory??
