Fix the 242T, sell for a good fair price. Then sell the S70, 1998 is not a good year. Then buy a 99 v70 and enjoy the freedom. Good luck with the Young-one and the house -life is short.
Opt. #2 sell the s70, fix/drive the 242 for 10 more years put your money into the house.

If it was a 254 with 106K I'd be all over you with the cash.
