Under the dash. Can be adjusted! 700 1988

700 Turbos definately have a boost cut-off switch.
As the first poster mentioned, it is indeed in that very location, under the dash, almost directly above the brake pedal. Look for the hose leading to the boost gauge, there is a tee runs of it for the boost cutoff.

Instead of completely disconnecting it, you may be able to adjust the sensitivity of it. Better to keep it if possible as a safeguard to overboosting and grenading your engine. There is an adjustment screw which has been glued over. If you can remove the glue, you can adjust it.
