Fuel pump problems?? 700 1980

Rich,

You most probably have a bad fuel injection relay.
Repair is possible and nothing to worry about, thanks to several good friends on this forum.

Go to "FEATURES", choose FAQ 7xx/9xx cars, choose Engine and fuel injection en choose again: Testing and repairing Full injection relays.
You'll also find several other noteworthy subjects.

Relays and fuses are located beneath the ashtray under de dash.
Remove ashtray,
Remove plastic insert.
Added convenience is when you also remove the cigarette lightercasing.
Just a little screw left upwards.
