OK, I've seen a few threads about replacing a steel sunroof with a glass moonroof, but no actual trials or results... I've got a 1989 740 with the crank steel sunroof. Does anyone know for sure if the 780 moonroof assembly can be retrofitted to the 740? What kind of electrical issues would be involved? Etc...

Anybody actually done this yet?
