Possible check valve on fuel pump, leak in fuel line.
Did you buy a new , or rebuilt /used AMM?
A while back I replaced the trashed AMM on my '90 with a rebuilt unit and suffered the same symptoms. After replacing everything else, I poped in a known good amm and no more problem.
I got my money back on the bum rebuilt unit.
