How do I open the trunk from the inside? 200 1985

This is exactly what I did. A bunch of extensions and a bunch of twiriling to take the bolts off the striker. I'd recommend a spinner rather than a ratchet if you don't have enough extensions and need to stick a chunk of your arm thru the back seat.

Now I only fear how much a trunk lock will cost from the dealer.
