Well more mystery. Last night the wife was coming home from work and the car just dies. She restarts it and it runs fine. Gets her home. Other info that I noticed in my last drive. The tach needle doesn't seem to stay steady. At certain rpms it vibrates. How much effect would the hall sensor connector have to this problem if any. Re read the FAQ several times, but nothing about tach being connected to hall sensor function. I suspect the connection as the car was running fine before the intial problem. I was not certain about the hall sensor causing the orignal problem and monkeyed around the base of the distributor with my hand. I may have a bad connection and knocked something loose. Is it possible that this could be the cause? Or am I going into the wrong direction. These parts have been replaced within the past year. FI relay, both fuel pumps, RSR, and the power stage. If not the connection to the hall sensor, I am wondering about the ignition switch.
Thanks UB
