Anybody have comments on the best way to convert my 71 142E to Electronic ignition? This points/condenser thing seems so crude I have considered upgrading it. I am not interested in performance, only reliability and economy.
Any recommendations on a brand?
Right now it is a 100% factory original car with zero modifications. Including the original AM/FM radio, overdrive, and Smith's tach mounted on the top of the dash(although the mount is broken right now, I am trying to find a new mount assy).
Would doing something like violate any sort of unwritten rule of making a car non-original?
