whats wrong with my car? 700 1986

I have the same exact car, and the same thing happens to me.
I was told that there is a mechanism that acts as an auxiliary pump that regulates air/fuel mixture until the main system warms up. The car will stutter/shake/hesitate until the main system "wakes up".
I just let the car idle for about 60 seconds before taking off and I have no problems.
