Lots of questions in here on a/c...I'm getting ready to replace the compressor on my '92 turbo 740 wagon...Is there a "choice" of compressor builders?...

I bought a variable expansion valve ($31.00 through NAPA)...Have new hoses, receiver/drier, seals, condensor and heater valve are two years old, ...compressor did NOT blow up or seize so there are no little pieces running through the system...With all this, have I overlooked anything? I just need to find someone here in the greater Detroit area to do this right...Anybody have a suggestion?..It's awful hot today in a car with an all black interior.
