960 Reliability/Expense 700 1988

Zach,

You are the man...I respect the fact that you have just had a major engine failure and yet you still appreciate your Volvo. It seems that too many people are so quick to badmouth their cars (especially the Volvo 960) when something goes wrong. I too have been considering the idea of purchasing a 960 (though all of the ones I have looked at have been 1995 models). It seems that most here are quick to complain about the 960 and ALL of it's features. I don't own a 960, but having owned a few Volvos before, I can safely assume that Volvo would not manufacture a "bad" car (or one that is not worth owning). Anyway, as I said, if you still appreciate your 960 after the recent troubles, then I am certain that I would enjoy owning one. It is nice to see a "good" 960 testimonial once in a while. Good call Zach...
