Bought a Bentley repair book for the 240. Was thinking of trying to replace radiator on my own with Nissens 3 row radiator from fcpgroton.com; I have limited mechanical ability. I can see how to pull everything and remove the lower radiator hose to drain the system, but I can't find the drain plug in the block. the book says it's under the exhaust manifold. So here's my question: do I have to drain that plug in the engine? Also, what do you use to plug the transmission lines with? thanks for any help. with fear a trepidation, but tired of paying the dealer all that labor! HT
