problem starting engine 700 1987

does your engine spin by hand? You din't mention if the engine has been sitting or not, but if it has, or you have been driving it and lost oil, It is possible you have a siezed engine.

You will also want to check the spade terminal connection, not that it is good, but that it is connected to the right terminal. You want the terminal to be connected to the spade terminal CLOSEST to the driver's side on the starter coil. (This is assuming it is a left hand drive car IE U.S. version)
