success replacing M47 bearings?

I recently purchased the 740. On the first service, I changed the timing belt and tensioner, and had the transmission fluid drained and refilled with Redline MTL. The mechanic said the old fluid was pretty bad. I hoped that the fluid change and overfill would quiet down the bearings, but no such luck.
