I could be wrong, but I am under the impression that all 240's have dual piston calipers on the front and single pistons on the rear with a split system. If that's the case the correct sequence for bleeding the brakes is 1.LR, 2.Upper LF, 3.Upper RF, 4.RR, 5.Outer RF, 6.Inner RF, 7.Outer LF, 8.Inner LF.
The Haynes book I have on the 940 indicates to start with the rear brakes(either one and then go to the front brakes left or right doesn't make a difference. I don't know why it would be any different for the 960.
If you have access to a system that pressurizes the system with a separate resevoir(ie IPD sells one) it is alot easier to bleed the system as only one person is needed.
