tune up for 940

Unless the valves are unnecessarily noisy, you are looking to replace the valve absorbers, you want to put a new camshaft in, or you are having upper end service for some other reason, I wouldn't really worry about the valve adjustment.

Every time I check valve clearances, I get the same in-spec readings. It doesn't hurt to check them but it is virtually unnecessary unless you have a bona fide reason to suspect that the clearances are out of tolerances.
