Recurring fuel delivery problems, help! 700 1989

You have replaced the fuel filter....right? If not, do it. A badly clogged filter makes the pump(s) work really hard. So hard they fail. How about too much water in your gas? Try a bottle of isopropyl (not ethanol) gas line anti-freeze. If there's much water in the tank (for whatever reason...cheap gas?), it will help. When was the last time the oxygen sensor was replaced? Also, you should be able to get some idea what's up from the codes set by the computer. Check out the FAQ for how to read the codes, and to get some other ideas about what your problem might be. Good luck.
