problem with starter motor 700

Hi guys, I have search the archives but haven't found any useful information on the problem that I am having.

Problem that I am having is that the starter motor engage but not actually turn the engine over. On the second time of trying it will make a loud noise like when the engine started and u turn the key a little bit extra ( I hope you know what I mean) and on third try it will start normally. This seems to be an intermittant problem. Will I be up for a new starter shortly, or is there something to rectify these problems?
