problem with starter motor 700

There is a clutched gear called a (bendix) on the starter motor shaft. If this is worn, the starter will spin and not engage. Also while chipped teeth on the flywheel may also be a culprit, it is less likely that chipped teeth are the problem.

Concentrate on the starter like the previous posts mention.
