740 facelift! HELP? 700 1989

JFYI, You can fit the 940 front lights and grill to a 740 - had to do it myself when I had a stone smashed my 740`s headlight, and I couldn`t find a headlight anywhere (my 740 had some wierd lights, narrower than usual with an L-shaped surround rather than just the strip underneath.)
The 740 bonnet is *slightly* different to the 940, but looks OK (IMO), and the lights are far and away better to drive with.
Took me about an hour and a half to do on site at the boneyard, including ripping the 940 lights out of the donor, and the lights plug straight in and work. You may need to add switches if you want the extra lights to work. You`ll need the 940 indicator/sidelights as well as they`re a slightly different angle to the 740`s, although I couldn`t find any decent ones and stayed with my 740`s for now.
Bear in mind though, these are UK spec cars, YMMV!
I`ll post some before and afters when I get a chance.
