Keyless entry - horrible range! S90-V90 1998

I apologize in advance for my response since I can't remember the source of this idea, otherwise I would inform you. I read somewhere about this same problem. Apparently the antenna for this system is horribly small - located somewhere in the steering column area. What the person did was replace the factory antenna (small length of wire) with a significantly longer length of wire and it dramatically improved the range. Again, sorry that I can't remember the exact source of this idea. Good luck!
