I finally found a picture of the sucker that shows the terminals and the shape of the relay. Turns out the realy has been removed from the board. Looking back at the records (I'll never by a car without them again) it looks like the PO brought the car in before he sold it to have the locks checked out. I bet the SOBs tested the relay found out it was not working (solder it!!!) and never put it back. There are scraped around where the socket once was that looks like someone had been testing the connections. Alrighty, its off to the boneyard! Thanks for your help.
