New problem stalled / Check engine 200 1989

Was your fuse holder really corroded? I had to replace mine today, as a matter of fact. My car would just crank and crank, and I even replaced the fuse last month after having my car stall on me. Yesterday afternoon, same problem. I broke off the fuse holder and, boy, was that thing ever corroded. The Volvo dealership charged about $7.50 for a new one... I got it for free (and they installed it, too) after a long story.

The only other item that caused a no-start for me was the fuel pump relay. A few years ago, my car wouldn't even turn over, no crank, no anything. I had that replaced then, and it's been good ever since.

Though, I don't think either of these would cause a code to appear. I thought I would just throw in my 2 cents.

Regards,
Eric S.
