I can tell you that the EZ116K ignition utilizes a inductive pick up (crank position sensor) mounted on the rear of the motor and senses 58 holes and a gap on the flywheel or flexplate for timing. It also utilizes a knock sensor in the side of the block. It sounds like a major project. Good Luck.
