the other posters are spot on with both recommendations. I had an 89 780 with girling calipers that did the same thing only I didnt know at the time that you could get the anti-rattle springs seperately. The up shot was I bought a set of really nice pads. So buy the springs for a buck fity. Also, I agree that turning volvo rotors isnt in your best interest, as replacing them with a decent set isn't that much more expensive and you won't have to deal with warpage (too much anyway) and this is coming from a cheap college student who bandages his 744t together all the time.
