struts and alignments 700 1985

Depending on the brand and operating conditions, struts will last from 60k to around 150k miles max. You will notice a looseness in the suspension, lots of wheel hop on bumps, and generally lousy performance.

To replace them will run about $250 for mail order shocks (Boges at www.shox.com) and about three hours of labor. You can do it yourself by following the instructions in the FAQ.
